DH and I are planning a WDW trip in early Oct. We will be traveling in a pickup with an attached camper, however we want to stay in a moderate resort room rather than Ft Wilderness. Will there be any problem parking in the normal resort parking lot?

    Hi Deborah!

    ROAD TRIP....WOO HOO!

I have some great memories from taking road trips with friends and family. Since you'll be heading to Walt Disney World, that's certainly going to be an awesome adventure. (The only bummer will be the ride home!)

I'm happy to say that I've got some good news for you. If you decide to stay at one of the moderate resorts, you should have no problem parking your truck and your camper in the resort's parking lot.  As long as you have a resort reservation, you're all set.

The only hitch I could possibly think of is whether there might be issues if the resort parking lot is super packed.  October just happens to be my favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World, and it's been my experience that parking has never been a problem at the resorts during that time of the year. So, you should be good to go!

I hope that helps. If you should have any further questions as you finalize the plans for your upcoming vacation, please feel free to let me know and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Happy Motoring!

    Best regards,
    Derek
