We are planning on going to WDW in Oct. of this year with our 3 y/o granddaughter and 4 y/o grandson. I am trying to decide on which resort to stay in. We definitely want one with the monorail. Which would be best for this age.

    Hi Cindy,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congrats on planning a vacation with your grandchildren. That will be so much fun for all of you.

There are three resorts on the monorail - the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, and the Polynesian Village Resort. Of those three, I think the Contemporary and the Polynesian Village Resort are the most kid friendly. At that age, my kids really loved the atmosphere at the Polynesian, but they also really are fascinated by the monorail running through the Contemporary. I think you'd be happy at either of the two resorts.

I hope that helps you make a decision. Enjoy your vacation!
