I am planning on visiting WDW for my first time in Sept. My son will be 16 months old. Since I have never been to WDW I was wondering which would be better for us to stay at. The Grand Fl. or The Beach Resort? Where would my son benefit more from?

    Hi Anna,

That is a tough question to answer!  These are both wonderful "Deluxe" Resorts and both offer the best locations available in Walt Disney World.  The "Beach Club Resort" offers an amazing 3 acre "sand-bottom" pool (this is more of a water park in my honest opinion) and a location which is unbeatable in order to get to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The "Grand Floridian Resort" has a "zero-entry" pool (which I really like) and the best thing of all here is the close proximity to Magic Kingdom which is easily accessible by Monorail from this Grand Resort.  I don't think you can really go wrong with any of these decisions, but you may want to think about whether a pool is more important to you and your 16 month old or if you will be mostly spending your time in Magic Kingdom (in which case I would then choose the Grand Floridian Resort!).  Good luck choosing and I know you will have a fabulous time!

    Have a magical day!
