I am planning on visiting Walt Disney World in November to celebrate my son's birthday for 3 days. I have never been so I need advice on attractions that will make his 6th birthday memorable. Any suggestions.. which parks/tix would be best?

    Hi there, Talisha!

Happy early birthday to DS! Make sure to stop by Guest Relations at any Park or at your Resort front desk and pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for him to wear (he can do so all vacation!). Everyone in your traveling party can also get an "I'm Celebrating" button, which can be personalized with DS's name and age. Keep the buttons on; you never know what pixie dust might be sprinkled on you!

At his age, I would unreservedly recommend the Magic Kingdom. Without a doubt, it offers the widest array of rides and attractions for his age group. There are rides, parades, fireworks, characters, great food ... what more could a birthday boy want?!

If he is into Cars, consider Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater will be greeting their fans throughout the day.. Make sure to get a Times Guide when you enter the Park so you don't miss any of the fun.

Oh, and make sure to check out Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show while you're at the Studios; it stars none other than Lightning McQueen himself!

Of course, Epcot and Animal Kingdom offer a wide variety of fun activities for children. I'd love to help you further; i you'd like, feel free to contact me here at the Moms Panel with some more of his interests, and I'll be delighted to help you plan some specific activities for your birthday boy.

    See you later, celebrator,
