I am planning on visiting Typhoon Lagoon with my 4 month old. Any suggestions? Also is there any areas I can pump/breast feed?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linsey, and congratulations on your new addition. There's nothing better than a new baby in the house!

You're sure to enjoy splash-tastic time at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Taking an infant along with you is going to require a little additional planning, but I'm happy to share a few tips for an easy breezy visit!

Be sure to take your stroller and a well-stocked diaper bag. A stroller is the perfect place for a snooze in the shade! If you're concerned about the heat, you may want to take a small, battery-operated fan that can be attached to the stroller to give your baby some cool air. You are also welcome to bring your own towels from home, so don't hesitate to pack as many as you need for your family!

There are enhancements available at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park that will surely make you more comfortable. Both Beachcomber Shacks and Getaway Glen Umbrellas provide guaranteed shade and some private space, in addition to a few other convenient amenities. These upgrades come at an additional cost, of course, but the added expense may be well-worth the comfort and convenience! To reserve either enhancement, simply call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.

Ketchakiddee Creek is designed just for little ones. While your 4-month old is too little to enjoy most of the features in this area, the two of you can splash around a bit in the water!

I'm happy to tell you that you're most welcome to breastfeed or pump wherever you please at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. If you'd prefer some privacy, head to the changing rooms.

It's important that nursing mamas stay hydrated! Be sure to drink plenty of water. You may bring water with you or request complimentary ice water from the Quick-Service dining locations. When I was nursing, I worked up quite an appetite. If you're feeling hungry, try the mini donuts from the Joffrey's stand. YUM!

I hope this was helpful, Linsey. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
