We are planning on visiting Disneyland sometime between 10/26-11/6. We were thinking of staying at Paradise Pier Hotel for 3 nights. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations regarding what I should consider and such.

Greetings, Ella! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

Planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort is always exciting, but it's even more wonderful when you plan to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel! When I stayed at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, I loved the adorable beach theme and the super easy walk to the parks. Since you are planning to stay for three nights, I suggest you book a vacation package that includes accommodations and theme park tickets. You will also get a few extra goodies like a savings card that provides discounts at participating shops and restaurants in the Downtown Disney District, an attraction photo, and a pin, lanyard, and luggage tag. Also, staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel entitles you to Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay, including exclusive access to Disney California Adventure Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Another thing I loved about Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel is that we could simply head downstairs to the lobby and have breakfast with Mickey! The Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends happens daily and features an expansive breakfast buffet and of course a chance to mingle with Mickey and a few of his pals.

Finally, you might also want to buy tickets to Mickey's Halloween Party which will take place on either October 27 or October 31 during your trip. This is a specially-ticketed event which means that Disneyland Park is open only to party goers during party hours. It's really fun for kids and a blast for adults as well!

I'd love to help you continue to plan, so please visit us again with any other questions!
