Hi there! We are planning on visiting Disney Orlando in summer 2018. Will Moana be part of the characters at the oarks? Which park is your favorite if you have to choose? By then our kiddos will be 7 year old girl & a 3 year old boy. Thanks!!!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ix-Chel! I love that you are preplanning down to the parks and character meet and greets. You’ll be a pro by the time your 60 day FastPass+ reservations window arrives.

I’m crossing my fingers that TeFiti will grant us a longer Moana Meet and Greet. She was seen at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party and greeted long lines of voyagers each night. Perhaps she will return from the sea, but until then, keep watch on the Disney Parks Blog, who will have first announcements on her visits. My favorite park? That is SO HARD! I have a very soft spot in my heart for Magic Kingdom, because I am adore the real magic that takes place there everyday. For many years (and still now) I called Disney’s Hollywood Studios home because of my love for the movies. But, if you are visiting with a 7 and 3 year old, I think you will have the best time at either Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom has thrills, family rides, classic shows and some of the best park food around. It’s always the MUST DO park on my list, and I typically spend two days here. Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers a look at the natural world like you’ve never seen it, with the imagined world of Pandora where you can meet the Na’vi on Na’vai River Journey and watch Bugs come to life in 4D after spotting live animals on the Kilimanjaro Safaris! I think your kids will adore becoming Wilderness Explorers, just like mine do!

If I can help you with any more vacation aspects, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’m hEAR to help you! ~ Lindsey P.
