Hello, we are planning on visiting disney in May and we were not sure which of this hotel will be best to stay. The hotel we have in mind are either animal kingdom lodge or wilderness lodge. Also if we stay in a standard room, do we see the animals.

Hi Lesly! That's a tough decision -- the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Wilderness Lodge are both beautiful hotels!

The Wilderness Lodge has a wonderful location close to the action. It's just a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, and very close to the Fort Wilderness Resort and the hotels on the monorail route, which gives you lots of options for dining and activities. If you're planning to spend a lot of your time at the Magic Kingdom, I think you'd prefer the Wilderness Lodge.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a little more remote from the parks, but it has an enchanting African safari theme that's unlike any other hotel you've ever experienced. If you book a savanna-view, you can watch giraffes, zebras, and other animals grazing from your resort room balcony. While you can't see the animals from a standard room, the resort has several viewing areas that allow guests to gaze at the animals.  The resort has some unique and popular restaurants with delicious food. In my opinion, the resort rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge feel more luxurious than those at the rustic-themed Wilderness Lodge.

Personally, I prefer the Animal Kingdom Lodge over the Wilderness Lodge, but many of my fellow Panelists have the opposite opinion. You really can't go wrong with either of these deluxe resorts! Have a magical time in May! Come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'm happy to help!
