We are planning our visit a week before our girls 3rd birthday party. We are coming from Kansas and I’m wondering if we need to bring proof of their age? I’d hate to get there and not be able to get in as I’m purchasing tickets now

Hey there, Ruth, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a special pre-birthday celebration you have planned for your princesses! It's so much fun to experience the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones. Since your girls will still be two years old when you arrive, they'll be special Guests of Mickey Mouse and won't need tickets for the Theme Parks. And as Timon and Pumbaa would say, "Hakuna Matata" - there's no need to worry about bringing proof of their age along with you. If any Cast Member should happen to ask, you can just let them know the girls are two and you'll be just fine.

Ruth, while you're making your plans, check out Disney's super helpful planning guide for parents of preschoolers. There are more ideas here than you can shake a magic wand at! From rides and attractions that are perfect for them, to shows they'll love, to Resort hotels that are packed with fun, you'll find tons of ways to make the most of your trip with your little ones!

I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation, Ruth. Please come by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
