Planning a visit 1st week of April. Was wandering about the weather ?? AND How do I make reservations for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with the characters for my 7 year old son. Not sure if we are staying on site yet. Thank you

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt DIsney World vacation, Jamie!  Although it can be quite difficult to predict the weather with 100% certainty, the average high temperature for Orlando in April is typically in the low 80s with the average low temperature usually in the upper 50s.

Guests can make Advanced Dining Reservations for Character DIning Experiences 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here.  As a mom to seven-year-old twin boys, I would recommend Chef Mickey's featuring the "Fab 5" located at DIsney's Contemporary Resort and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast located at DIsney's Polynesian Resort which features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.

My biggest tip for guests planning a Walt DIsney World vacation is to stay on property. There are so many benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort which include Extra Magic Hours, complimentary transportation, Disney's Magical Express, Disney DIning Plan, room charging privileges, complimentary package delivery, excellent customer service, plus much more. I can honestly say from experience that it is a huge convenience to be able to easily travel back to our resort for a much needed midday break or nap with little ones. Please don't hesitate to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jamie!
    Happy Planning,
