Planning to visit WDW from Dec 28 thru jan 1.Will dining be free at that time ? One adult and one child only - budget traveller.

Hi, Chitra!   The week between Christmas and New Year's is typically one of the busiest weeks of the year at Walt Disney World, therefore it is very unlikely you will see any discounts or free dining offered.

There are some other great ways to save money:
-Book a Standard Room at a Value Resort
-Plan on using Magical Express for airport transportation
-Bring some cereal/breakfast bars to have in your room for a quick and easy breakfast
-Before you leave home, pack a notebook to use as an autograph book, refillable water bottles, and rain ponchos.   Huge savings by bringing these vs. buying in the parks
-Do not add pricey options to your tickets like park hopping or water parks
-Choose quick service meals over table service.  Saves a lot of money and TIME!

Have fun planning your holiday trip to Walt Disney World!
