Hi, were planning to visit walt disney world around october but I'm not sure about the weather what do you thing. Is that a good month to visit.

    Hello Anna!

I love your plan to visit Walt Disney World in October.  It is certainly a favorite time of year for me.  Be sure to include the Halloween happenings during your visit.  My favorite is  Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park.   In terms of weather, I have found the month of October to be quite pleasant. Technically, October still falls within hurricane season in Florida.  This could mean mean that storms are possible if a hurricane is nearby.  Although not typical, it is something to be aware of.  Normally the month of October sees highs in the mid 80's (fahrenheit) and lows in the upper 60's or so.  Keep an eye on the weather forecast just prior to your departure.

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks moms Panel.  I wish you a truly magical vacation!
