Pandora Family Floating Mountains

    Karen from NY Asked

We are planning to visit Pandora and have fast passes for Flight of Avatar. Our two year old does not meet the minimum height so we plan to use rider switch. Are there any play areas or other things for young children who are not tall enough to ride?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen!

Hooray for being able to reserve one of the most coveted FastPass+ for an attraction that has quickly become a fan favorite, Avatar Flight of Passage, at Pandora –The World of Avatar! The first time I experienced this attraction, it took my breath away. This immersive experience makes you feel like you are actually flying on the back of a banshee. I hope you love it as much as I did!

Karen, smart planning using Rider Switch so you can take turns riding. You are in luck! Disney’s Animal Kingdom has many wonderful places for tiny tots to enjoy and explore while you wait! If you don’t want to go far, the valley of Mo’ara is full of interactive fun for kids of all ages. My little girl loves playing on the drums and just walking around taking in all the exotic, alien, flora and fauna. If you want to explore other areas of the park, The Boneyard at DinoLand U.S.A. is a fantastic spot to let littles roam around and explore.

You can also consider experiencing Na’vi River Journey since your little one can enjoy it with you. This stunning boat ride takes you through the bioluminescent rainforest where you will be able to enjoy the evening glow of the vegetation of Pandora throughout the day.

Be sure to locate the Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks during your visit. These parent and baby havens are the perfect spot to change, feed, or just rest with your little one during those fun filled days at the parks. You’ll find the one at Disney’s Animal Kingdom right next to Creature Comforts (Starbucks), conveniently close to Pandora.

Thanks again for stopping by! I hope you have a wild time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Pandora.
