Hello, we are planning our visit for October of 2017 and I am about to get the Magic Bands. My grandchildren have a genetic skin disorder and would need to take the bands off every day. Is that possible?

Hello, Gene!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Visiting Walt Disney World during the month of October is MAGICAL!  The sights are BOOtiful and the sounds are SPOOKtacular.  I know you are going to love WDW during this time of year.

You will be happy to know that the MagicBands are removable.  You grandchildren do not need to wear them as long as you are able to keep them in a safe place for FastPass+ reasons.  Also, please keep in mind, that you may request a card which works in the exact same manner as a MagicBand.  The card resembles a credit card.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Looking for some great Disney merchandise?  Visit the Shop Disney Parks App for some great ideas.  Trust me, shopping has never been easier.

May your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.  Please join us again real soon should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are always ready to spread some pixie dust.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
