We are planning a visit mid June and plan on going to the water parks. What’s your suggestion for the best time to visit during the day? I’m feeling overwhelmed trying to reserve fast passes while fitting in time for the water parks during the visit.

Hey there, Jacob! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for bringing us your question.

Jacob, rule of thumb as you plan your magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is try to arrive early! You know the saying "the early bird gets the worm"? Well, at Disney, the early bird gets to enjoy more of the magic before the not so early bird arrives! You will be able to get multiple attractions scratched off your wish list in a shorter amount of time allowing you a more leisurely afternoon enjoying the sites, or even taking a mid-day break when the parks are at their busiest.

When it comes to the two world-class water parks on property, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, the arrive early approach also applies! You will be able to get in and out of most of the popular attractions with shorter waits allowing you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the lazy river during the afternoon of your visit!

If you are planning to park hop between the 4 main theme parks and the water parks, I would definitely recommend starting at the water parks and making your FastPass+ reservations for the other parks for the afternoon. Because the water parks don't have FP+, this will be the best time-saving approach to planning your day.

I hope this helps you as you continue dreaming up and planning a magically unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to stop by and bring them our way.

    See ya real soon,
