We're planning a visit with a 2.5 y/o and 5 y/o. I was looking at the Dessert party in tomorrowland for the Wishes fireworks viewing. Is this a good vantage point? Will it be very difficult / crowded / long to get out of MK for our disney bus afterward?

    Hi Julie!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

A lot of guests enjoy watching Wishes from the Dessert Party.  It is off center but besides that it has a great location; Tinker Bell will fly down over you during a normal showing of Wishes.  I say it is off center because the show is symmetrical and centered on the Castle, and thus designed to be viewed from Main Street USA.  However, I think it looks great when off centered as well.  In fact, Main Street USA is almost always packed and thus guests who don't like crowds often watch from other locations in the park.

With regards to after the fireworks, the general answer is "yes".  A lot of guests will be headed out of the Magic Kingdom after the fireworks, especially those families with young children.  Thus the walk to the buses can be crowded, but I don't think it is that bad except on the busiest days of the year.  If you arrive at the bus stop and there is a huge line for your resort, you could always just walk to the Contemporary Resort (about 5 minute away) and get a taxi there.  However, keep in mind that Disney often runs extra buses right after the fireworks to help get guests back to their resort quickly.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
