I am planning to visit for the first time with my kids in May 2012 (ages 3.5 and 2 at that time). Is California Grill a good choice for kids that age (my son is well behaved for the most part but still a boy)? Or would Garden Grill be better?

    Hi Cathryn,

Between the two choices you are deciding upon, I think younger children will likely enjoy the Garden Grill more.  They'll have a chance to have Chip 'n Dale visit them and get to experience a rotating restaurant while catching glimpses of the attraction Living with the Land. You'll also be in Future World within Epcot, so either before or after dining you'll be able to visit some of the nearby attractions, many of which are popular with children. And if you dine in the evening, you can watch Illuminations that night and do make sure and look down at the sidewalks in Future World at night --- you may see some surprises!

If you do go with the California Grill, it is still a good choice with a menu filled with wonderful choices and the views of the all of Walt Disney World are spectacular.  It has always been a favorite with my children.  If you do dine early there, you are welcome to return later in the evening to watch the fireworks; just hold onto your receipt!
