Planning to visit Disneyworld in Jan. 2016. Want to stay at one of the Economy resorts in the Park. Need 3 rooms. Was wondering if it was cheaper to put all of the teenagers in a suite that sleeps 6 or get 2 adjoing rooms for them? Thanks

    MaryLou:

You'll find that two standard rooms are typically cheaper than the family suites at the Value Resorts, after all, you're getting a microwave and kitchenette area. But keep in mind that Disney doesn't guarantee connecting or adjoining rooms (which, you need to know, are side-by-side. If you want an interior door connecting the rooms, ask for a "connecting" room.) The sooner you make your reservations, though, the better your chances to be near each other.

The advantage of the Family Suite is that you're guaranteed to be together and you can make up the sofa, chair and ottoman for communal space, which is better for teenagers than sitting on beds, in my opinion, to visit in the morning or at the end of the day.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
