We are planning to visit Disneyland in the first week in July. If we make a dinner reservation at Goofy's Kitchen on July 4th, is there anywhere to watch or see the fireworks at Disneyland from the restaurant/hotel?

    Hi there, Carolyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us this great question. I love that you have already started planning your patriotic Fourth of July vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen sounds like a fantastic idea. Since this is the only Character Dining meal offered during dinner, you will definitely want to make your reservation as soon as you are able to 60 days in advance by booking online, on the Disneyland app, or by calling  (714) 781-3463. While you cannot see Disneyland Park fireworks from this restaurant, you may be able to see them from your Disneyland Hotel room. Your best chance of having a view of fireworks from your room would be to select a "Premium Downtown Disney View" room, but firework views are not always guaranteed. However, a guaranteed way to view fireworks from the Disneyland Hotel would be to upgrade your hotel room to include Club-Level Service. As a Club-Level Guest you will have access to the E-Ticket Club on the 11th floor of the Adventure Tower. This exclusive space offers stunning views of fireworks with music piped in as well. Here you can also enjoy an assortment of complimentary snacks and beverages.

Since this summer will be a very popular time due to the long-awaited opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, I advise booking your hotel reservation as soon as possible. You'll also want to add Disney MaxPass to your park tickets so you can minimize your time in attraction lines and maximize the magical experiences on your trip.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
