Planning a vacation with extended family including 7 people, so I need two rooms. Can that be done and, if so, what are the restrictions? Two people do not want any dining plan due to dietary restrictions, is that allowed. What about fast passes?

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Let me try to help you plan the most magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

There are many options for extended family. From family suites with room for up to six adults like the ones at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, to two-bedroom villas at one of the Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels with room for up to nine adults. You can also make multiple reservations and request to have connecting rooms or for them to be nearby. Note that this is only a request and not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to satisfy it.

We love the Dining Plans since they let us prepay for our meals and we can leave back home any worries about budgets. You can add it to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package; however, all Guests under the same reservation will receive it. In your case, you may want to make two reservations, and only add it to one of them. The Guests listed on the second reservation would then pay out of pocket.

One last tip: everyone should have their own My Disney Experience account, and you want to share your plans with each other. Then you will be able to make FastPass+ reservations 60 days before your Check-In for everyone. Happy planning!
