Hi Brenda ~
I have been taking my boys to the Walt Disney World Resort since they were born. They are now a tween and a teen. I've often wondered if they would outgrow the magic or if they would have my Disney "gene" and love it forever. So far, it looks like the Disney "gene" is dominant with them too.
I highly recommend
Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Be sure to get a FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage.
If your son loves thrill rides, there are lots of those including:
* Space Mountain
* Splash Mountain
* Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
* Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
* Star Tours - The Adventures Continue
* The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
* Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
* Test Track
* Soarin'
My boys are competitive so they also love Toy Story Mania! and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
Here are some other recommendations:
*
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom *
Sammy Duvall's Parasailing *
Fort Wilderness Archery Experience If your son is a Star Wars fan, head to Disney's Hollywood Studios. In addition to Star Tours, he'll love:
* Star Wars Launch Bay
* March of the First Order
* Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away
* Character encounters including Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and BB-8
* Tatooine Traders
* Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular
