We are planning a vacation for early December 2014, when can we start booking a resort? We would love to stay at AOA Little Mermaid room. I know they are booked up fast and we don"t want to miss out on reserving a room. Thanks for your time.

    Hi Chantelle!

Disney's Art of Animation is an incredible resort, the themeing puts your right in the middle of your favorite Disney movie!  Since the resort is mostly made up of Family Suites, The Little Mermaid section is very popular for guests not needing quite that much space and therefore can book up early.  When is the time to book?  Now!  If you are booking a room only reservations, you can book up to 499 days in advance of your check-in date.  Now, if you want to take advantage of Disney's Magic Your Way Package you can still go ahead a book.  The prices for package are typically released and ready to be booked the summer prior to the year you wish to travel.  For example, packages for 2014 were released in July of 2013.

If your holding out for booking to see if there is a good deal, I've got some great new for you!  You can go ahead and book your reservation now and if Disney's releases any special offer that is valid for your dates of stay, you can have it added to your reservation even after you book.  I will warn you though, due to popularity of The Little Mermaid rooms, this area is often excluded from most special offers or only offer a small discount.

I hope this is helpful, Chantelle and please let me know if you need any advice while planning your upcoming vacation!

    Happy Planning!
