    Sandy from TN Asked

We are planning a vacation for Disneyland Oct 8-15. We have visited Disneyworld many times and my question is: Does Disneyland have magicbands? Also, how far in advance can we make fast pass reservations?

    Dear Sandy,
I'm so glad you'll be making your way to Cali to experience the Magic at the Happiest Place on Earth!
October is a fantastic time to visit! We should soon be finding out the dates for Mickey's Halloween Party soon so you can buy your tickets and make plans to join in the Spooktacularly ghoulish fun!
The Disneyland Resort does not offer MagicBands.
The FASTPASS Service is our way of avoiding long lines and making the most of our Park experience. It's not available ahead of your trip though. You can only take advantage of this feature once you're arrived at the Parks.
Here's how the FASTPASS Service works:
You look for the FASTPASS Distribution sign near the entrance of an attraction. It will have a return time displayed. If that's a good time for you, insert your valid Park admission ticket into the FASTPASS machine. In turn, the machine will generate a FASTPASS ticket with your return time. When its time to return, show your FASTPASS ticket and enjoy the ride without a long wait time!
Earlier in the year the Disneyland Resort announced a new service called MaxPass which will allow guests to make advance FASTPASS reservations using the Disneyland Mobile App for a daily fee. During my last trip to Disneyland I thought I saw this service being tested although nothing has been officially announced.
I recommend you check out the Disney Parks Blog for updates.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    Have a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Day!
