While planning an upcoming WDW vacation for my family, I noticed you could make a Fast Pass reservation for parades and fireworks. How does this work and why would you need a Fast Pass for these?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Yes, you can make FastPass+ reservations for shows, attractions, character experiences as well as parades and fireworks. For parades and fireworks, you will have a special area to view the parade and fireworks. This is a great feature for guests especially those who do not ride attractions.

Personally, my family saves our FastPass+ for attractions. We have to ride Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Toy Story Midway Mania. We know we can always find a spot for the parade or fireworks if we want to see these. However, since we are into the attractions, you can find us riding instead of watching.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
