We're planning a trip to WDW in 2010 w/our 8 yr & 4 yr old. Any suggestions of things to do to help pass the time while we are standing in line? (Rock, paper, scissors will only work for so long!) Thanks!

Hi Karen. Having played one too many games of Rock, Paper, Scissors, I hear what you're saying! Other things my daughter enjoys is playing 20 Questions, I Spy, and Pick a Number. We also make up fun clapping games, but sometimes that annoys people next to us in line. Her newest favourite thing is to look for hidden Mickeys. Hidden Mickeys are images of Mickey Mouse hidden in the surroundings. It can be the typical three circles (one large circle for the head and two smaller ones for the ears), or the profile of Mickey's head.  These images are hidden by Disney Imagineers throughout resorts, theme parks, water parks, just about anywhere on Disney property. We have the "Hidden Mickeys" book by Steven M. Barrett, which provides clues to finding the Mickeys. It's a great way to pass time, and you'll notice so many details you may have otherwise missed.

Hope this helps Karen! Have a magical vacation.
