We're planning a trip to WDW 2nd week of Nov 2011; it will be our first trip with 6 and 9 y/old daughters. We want unobstructed view of Castle and fireworks from our room. Looking at Grand Floridian, Contemporary, or Bay Lake Tower. Which do you suggest

    Hi Valarie,

The Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower and Contemporary all have great views of the castle. However, the Grand Floridian offers the best view of the castle.

The Grand Floridian is full of old fashion elegance and charm. This resort has fabulous shops and dining. Narcosse which is located on Seven Seas Lagoon will even pipe the music of the fireworks into the restaurant so you can enjoy the show without being in the park.

The Contemporary and its Disney Vacation Club counterpart, Bay Lake Towers, are styled in a contemporary fashion. With the monorail running through the Contemporary, it makes for an excellent resort to stay in when concentrating on the Magic Kingdom. The California Grill at the top of the Contemporary boasts fresh flavors and they too pipe the music into the restaurant as well.

I hope you enjoy your magical vacation!
