I am planning a trip to WDW. My son will be just 2 and my daughter will be 8 months. I am going to bring a double stroller, and am trying to decide between my side by side or front/back one. Any suggestions?

    Hi Amy,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I can tell you that I put a LOT of miles on our double stroller during our visits to Walt Disney World with infants and toddlers.  Personally, I prefer the front-to-back double stroller simply because it is much easier to fit through the gates, elevator doors, onto the Monorails, down the aisles of the merchandise shops etc.  The wider the stroller the more of a challenge this becomes.

I'll also mention that if your stroller comes with a rain cover, be sure to bring it.  I actually purchased a clear plastic tablecloth to cover ours with in the event of rain.  It was helpful because most of the time you need to leave your stroller outside of an attraction, and if it happens to rain before you come out - your things will get wet.  I also brought a light blanket to drape over the top of the canopies to offer additional sun protection for the little one (I would put the baby in the back and drape a blanket over the two canopies while they slept).

I hope this helps - good luck with your decision!
