We are planning a trip to WDW October 18-26 2017. We have a family of 5 and my parents are a family of 2. What is the best dining plan? Also we will have one person in a wheelchair; is the transportation handicap accessible and easy with a wheelchair?

    Hello, Kristine!

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the fall is a fantastic plan! From tasting cuisine from around the world during Epcot International Food &Wine Festival to strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. taking in the fall decor, you are sure to have an unforgettable time!

There are a few things to consider when deciding on a Disney dining plan. If your family prefers quick-service options rather than table-service meals, then you may find the Quick Service Plan is best. However, if you intend to dine at mostly Signature restaurants, redeeming two table-service credits for each person per meal, then the Deluxe Plan may be a better choice. Also, take a look at the menu offerings. I have spent lots of time analyzing the cost of what we might pay at a restaurant to see if a dining plan would be a good choice for that vacation. You want to make the most out of your investment and find a plan that fits your family's needs.

Finally, Complementary Resort Transportation is wheelchair accessible. Cast Members use portable ramps to provide access to monorails and most watercraft. A few smaller boats require Guests to be ambulatory, but if that is an issue an accessible boat can be called for you. Busses are all equipped with ramps for easy access and have designated loading areas to help bus drivers service Guests with Mobility Disabilities first.

My space is limited, but I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions!
