We are planning a trip to WDW in Oct. 09.We are not staying at Disney Resort.Traveling with family of 5 is my 12 year old son who is disabled. He has a power wheelchair and have concerns about shuttles having wheelchair lift. Do shuttles have lifts?

When you mention that you're staying off-site, I'm a bit confused about what you mean by the word "shuttle" Many off-property hotels in Orlando area offer shuttle buses to Walt Disney World. Many, but not all, of these will be handicapped accessible. You will need to contact your hotel directly for information on their policies.

However, I can assure that every WDW transportation shuttle bus is fully accessible to guests in wheelchairs and ECVs. These are the buses that will take guests from the theme parks to the Disney resorts as well as between the theme parks. Additionally, the monorail and some of the Disney boats are wheelchair accessible as well.

I hope that your entire family has a wonderful vacation.
