We're planning a trip to wdw in Oct 2013 w/3 children (ages 7 & twins 5). We want to be in the same room w/out paying for concierge level. We prefer to stay at a deluxe resort that has the childcare evening camp. Any tips?

    Hello, Jill,

October is such a fun time to visit Walt Disney World as the summer heat is slipping away, and guests have the added bonus of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (requires an additional ticket) and the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

You do have a couple of deluxe resort options that meet your criteria.  The first is the Polynesian Resort, which is a Magic Kingdom resort. It has, in my sons' opinion, the best childcare center:  the Neverland Club.  It is themed around Peter Pan's Neverland; in fact, children arrive at the center by going through the Darling Family bedroom window just like in the story. As parents, we liked all the nearby fine dining options at the four Magic Kingdom resorts. If we needed to return unexpectedly, we knew we could do it quickly.

Another option is the Beach Club Resort, which is an Epcot resort. It has an incredible pool recreation area with its sand bottom pool, lazy river, sand bar, and more.  It is also located right next to Epcot, so you can walk directly to this park. The child care here is the Sandcastle Club

Wishing you a magical trip; please let us know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip.
