Planning 2nd trip to WDW next Aug., celebrating our 20th anniv with our kids (16, 14 & 9)! Our trip is approx. 3 weeks before the actual date of our anniv. Is it ok to mention that we are celebrating our anniv. at our dining restaurants/reser?

Hi Stacey! Since most of us can not plan travel on our exact celebratory days I think three weeks is certainly close enough to announce your mile stone anniversary to Mickey's world.  Be sure and ask when you check in if they have Happy Anniversary buttons for each of you and if not you can pick one up at Guest Relations in any park. Wear them probably the entire time and you will receive many wonderful words of congratulations from cast and guests.

When making dining reservations be sure and include your anniversary in the notes. You can do this for each dining spot or just choose one or two that will be special dining for you and your family. The kids would probably love it if you had a celebration at each meal. When my daughter and her friend celebrated a teen birthday at Disney they stopped counting how many cakes they were served. A Disney friend noted on their reservations it was their birthday and we had so much fun wondering what was going to happen at each restaurant.

You might want to choose one dining location to order a special cake or just have a cake from there which would be a Mickey vanilla or chocolate. And if a cake does not sound good to your tastes you can be sure there will be great desserts offered for you to order.

Have fun with this and don't forget to hint to your husband that the Disney Floral and Gifts has some wonderful romantic floral arrangements and sentiments that can be delivered to your resort room. Hey it's worth a try!  Happy early Anniversary!
