Planning our 2nd trip to WDW for late May. We're working around school schedules. Which week do you think is LESS CROWDED: the week before Memorial Day or the week that includes Memorial Day? Either way we'd be in the parks 1 or 2 days of weekend.THANKS!

    Hi Kim!
The week before Memorial Day is usually less crowded. The summer season gets under way after that holiday weekend. As schools let out, each week gets progressively busier.

Over the holiday weekend, go in the opposite directions of the crowds. Last year, I helped some good friends of ours take their first trip to WDW and it fell over this particular weekend. I encouraged them to tour Hollywood Studios on Saturday and Animal Kingdom on Sunday and it seemed to work well. Of course, you'll need to wait and look at the official WDW calendar for your travel dates. If Extra Magic Hours change, schedule to tour the parks without EMH or visit a park that had evening EMH on the previous evening.

Have a fabulous trip and thanks for stopping by the WDW Moms Panel!
