We are planning our 1st trip to WDW 12/27-1/3/15! I know the park will be crazy busy. Any specific things to use the FAST PASS + with? Any special things we should make sure we see/do?? Weather? Traveling with younger and older kids- 21, 18, 11, 6.

    Hi Christy,

What a great time of the year to be at the Walt Disney World Resorts! Yes, the park will be busy but you can manage it with some planning. The weather can vary so make sure you have long pants and sweatshirts. I spent most of our trip last year during this week in my polar fleece.

As for FastPass+, I would use it for attractions with times later in the day. Parades have many spots to view and shows generally have enough seating for guests. Attractions have more limited capacity. The only FastPass+ I might get is one for a character. However, if you plan a character meal, you may have that covered.

You should definitely talk with your family which FastPass+ they would like to use on the trip. Also, make sure you make Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) so that you have someplace to dine.

As for what not to miss, again talk to your family about what they want to do. I would definitely see Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disney's Hollywood Studios and Holidays Around the World in Epcot.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
