I am planning to take a trip to WDW in June 2012 and I will be traveling with my husband and 2 daughters(age 7 &3) this will be our 1st time visiting and I'm wondering what is the best place to stay without that hotel feeling

    Hello there Shanetta!

To me, most of the Walt Disney World resorts still have a hotel feeling. While the deluxe and moderate resorts do have a nice upper scale feeling in the rooms, I have stayed in other hotels which compared to the Disney resorts. If you want a room which different, I would choose one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. The resorts are named Old Key West, BoardWalk Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Beach Club Villas, Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Tree House Villas at Saratoga Springs and Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort. These resorts are time-share suites which are larger and have much better amenities. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help!
