Planning a trip to WDW in Feb 2011- trying to decide if we should go to Cinderlla's Royal table or to Akershus for lunch....? Are we guaranteed to see princesses at both locations? I will be paying for the dining out of pocket. Suggestions please...

    Hi Stacy,

You are guaranteed to see princesses at both Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table; however, the slate of princesses can vary, so there is no guarantee that you will see a specific princess at a given restaurant -- although it stands to reason that Cinderella makes an appearance at Cinderella's Royal Table.  Usually, there is one princess who greets you in the lobby and poses for photos, and then four other princesses visit guests inside the restaurant.

As far as which restaurant to choose, it depends.  Akershus is usually our restaurant of choice because it's slightly less expensive and usually easier to make reservations.  However, there is something about dining inside the Castle that adds a little extra magic to a vacation.  At this point I recommend seeing what's available and choosing where you want to spend the rest of your day - Epcot or Magic Kingdom.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
