We are planning a trip to WDW in early November with my parents and two girls, ages 2 1/2 & 16 months. Where should be stay that sleeps 6 and would be a good place for toddlers? I like the cabins at Ft. Wilderness but will it be buggy that time of ye

    Hi Amanda!

November is a great time of year to consider a visit to Walt Disney World. I've visited many times at that time of year and have never noticed there to be many bugs around at that time. Temperature wise, it's a lovely, mild time of year and the crowd levels are typically a little lower.

To sleep 6 comfortably while vacationing together, you have several options. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are a great option, as well as the new Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Which will appeal to you most, really depends on what type of sleeping arrangement you feel will be most suitable for your family, and whether you require a full kitchen, a kitchenette or no kitchen facilities at all.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort include a full kitchen and living area as well as outdoor deck and bbq grill. Sleeping arrangements are a separate bedroom with double bed and set of bunk beds, as well as a pull-down double bed in the living area.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort's Family Suites include a kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator, sink and coffeemaker. Sleeping set-up for 6 includes a separate bedroom with queen size bed and ensuite bath, double sleeper sofa in the living area and double bed which converts from a table in the dining area.

If you think your parents would like some privacy, while still being close to the family, consider adjoining rooms at the beautiful and quaint, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Accommodations here include 2 queen beds per room as well as a mini-fridge and coffee maker. If you're planning to take advantage of one of Disney's fantastic Dining Plans, and would enjoy the comfort of larger beds and added privacy for the families, this may be a great option for you.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Amanda!
