We are planning a trip to WDW in December 2019 (late graduation gift for my youngest son). I just read I can book my trip on June 19th of this year (yea)! My question is: Does the window upon at midnight EST or will it be random? Thank you

    Hi Shannon!

Welcome BACK to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you oh so much for your continued support of our group. You're not just helping plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, future guests can find answers to your questions as well!

Congratulations to your son! What a perfect reason to celebrate with the whole family in the most Magical Place on Earth. Pro tip: buy any class yEAR Disney Graduation gear when he actually graduates as these items aren't usually available all year.

Yes, you are able to book part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation a year and a half in advance. Technically speaking, guests can only book a Rooms-Only Disney Resort Hotel reservation 499 days in advance of the day they plan to check out, because that's how far out the reservation system goes. Any reservations for dates beyond what is available to make online must be done over the phone by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation Line. Their number is (407) 939-1936, and helpful Cast Members are available from 7 A.M. until 11 P.M. EST.

The really neat thing about booking your vacation this was is that a rooms-only reservation secures the beds for your heads at your desired Disney Resort Hotel. You're then able to call back and add theme park tickets and dining plans as soon as they are announced, or you can even wait for special packages to be released throughout the year.

Bonus Tip: Check out these super cute Mickey Celebration Cakes that can be delivered to almost every Table Service restaurant. And don't forget to pick up a complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' button when checking in to your resort hotel!
