We are planning a trip to WDW for Christmas. Are the club level rooms at Wilderness Lodge worth the extra money? We are a family of 4. Two kids ages 6 and 10.

Hi Angela! Your question does not have a definite answer as room variety is such a personal choice. There are guests who love the Value Resorts and then other guests who will not stay in anything except a Deluxe Resort.

Club Level amenities at the Deluxe resorts include a variety of foods and snacks and drinks available throughout the day and evening. Enjoying breakfast in a comfortable area is enjoyable versus trying to find a breakfast dining reservation each day. Children love the chance to grab a cookie in the afternoon or a quick glass of milk while the parents enjoy the calming glass of wine or beer after a long day in the parks.

Each Club Level will have several concierges available for you to use to cancel dining or attempt getting a last minute reservation. Please know they don't have extra pull for things like this but they can help you out as best they can. They will be glad to arrange transportation to airports and get boarding passes printed too.

The best part is that the behind the scenes planners will help you get your dining reservations and FastPasses so you are not having to worry about things like that. If you choose to use a Club Level room I strongly suggest you make sure you make contact with the concierges before your 180 day dining window so they can do the reserving for you.

You can certainly have a wonderful Disney vacation without a Club Level room and do all the things a concierge can do. The choice is how much do you want to do the planning of your trip and how much do you want to sit back and enjoy and let someone else do the work. The cost is much higher to be on Club Level so if you are not going to take advantage of the perks do not book this category of room.
