We are planning a trip to WDW ( 2 boys 6 and 8 plus myself and my husband) inn Feb for 6 days. We want to stay in a deluxe hotel this time for convenience and full experience--would you recommend the Contemporary or FWilderness or the Polynesian?

    Hey Kathleen,

Any one of these resorts are great choices, but if convenience is your goal, then I would choose either Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for one reason; monorail.  Both of these resorts are on the monorail line and travel is as easy as stepping outside your hotel.  The choice then comes down to the hotel theming.   I love Disney's Polynesian because of the relaxed atmosphere and the feeling of being on a tropical island. And did I mention Dole Pineapple Whip in Capt. Cooks, and the infamous Tonga Toast in Kona Cafe?

Disney's Contemporary Resort also has some great restaurants including The Wave, California Grill and Chef Mickey's.  While this hotel is definitely a deluxe resort in every way possible, for me, it lacks the quiet and solitude that you experience at the Polynesian.  Your kids, though, may enjoy the futuristic quality of the resort, especially when they look up and see the monorail pass seamlessly through the hotel lobby.

No matter which resort you choose, you're going to have a fabulous vacation.  Let us know if we can provide additional guidance as you plan your 2016 vacation.  We'd love to help!
