We are planning a trip to WDW in August, and are staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. It will be myself, my husband and our nephew, who is 12 years old. Currently, we have a "studio" room booked at the resort. Is this large enough for

I have stayed in villa studio-style rooms several times. They are perhaps slightly bigger, but not much different in feel from a regular hotel room. (There is a small kitchenette, but this does not greatly impact the living space.)

As far a adequate sleeping space goes, yes, the studios do have room for three people. There is a queen-sized bed plus a couch that pulls out into another queen-sized bed. But honestly, you're not going to have much privacy. You will be with your nephew 24/7, with no opportunity for couple time with your hubby. If that works for you, then the studio is a great choice.

If you are looking for more personal space, you could upgrade to a one-bedroom villa. This gives you two real separate rooms. Your nephew could go to sleep, while you and hubby can stay up later chatting without disturbing him. The one-bedroom villa will also give you a real full kitchen. You could eat breakfast in your room here to save a bit of money.
