I am planning a trip to WDW on April 29th – May 3rd. I am terrified that it might rain on them days. I am looking for something else to do. I have read other comments and saw suggestions of Disney Quest but I was looking for a bit more ideas.

Hi, Chevonne!   Even the magic of Disney can't make it stop raining!  When it rains, you just have to have a plan!   Some rainy day options:

-Get a poncho, put on some flip flops, and hit the parks.   The show keeps on rolling, even in the rain!  So if you are up to getting a bit wet, go for it!   We had a vacation a few years ago where it rained constantly.  I have some really funny pictures of my kids in their ponchos, and it is a trip they still talk about!

-If rain is not your thing, how about a movie?   There is a huge movie theatre in Downtown Disney.   Nothing is better on a rainy afternoon than a movie and a big bucket of popcorn!

-Check out a new resort!  Take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and hop on the resort monorail.   It will make stops at Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian.  Have lunch, shop, and see what these beautiful resorts have to offer.

-Stay put.  Just put on your PJ's, click on the TV and order a pizza.  This is your vacation, so don't feel bad if you decide to relax for a day.

Wishing you blue skies and a magical vacation in Walt Disney World!
