Hi planning a trip for summer for my DD's who will be 4yr and almost 1yr and my mother who can walk fine but has trouble standing still for a long time it causes her legs to swell Is there any way to avoid this with out a wheel chair she wants to walk

Hi Sheena! When traveling with someone who has some physical limitations it is important to keep the pace in the parks to a slow casual one. If she does not want to rent a wheel chair then make a plan for the day and include many stops for water breaks and rest. Since you are vacationing in the summer you will find the heat can be quite difficult so make dining reservations that force you out of the sun and humidity at least a few times during the day. Use Fast Passes for as many rides that offer this service as that will keep the standing down to a minimum.

Your mother might find a wheel chair helpful after one day of trying to walk and each park offers them for rent for the day. If she still insists on walking then just take your time and enjoy as much as you can. There is so much to see and do in the parks beyond the attractions where all the lines will be.
