We are planning a trip soon and we have a 2 year old. Do we need any documentation for access to the park

    Hi there, Debbie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it. How exciting!

Children under the age of 3 do not need theme park admission since they are considered Guests of Mickey Mouse. You will not be required to show proof of age for your 2-year-old. The theme parks work on an honor system when it comes to the ages of young Guests. I've taken all four of my children at least twice before their 3rd birthday and was never asked to show proof of age when entering the parks. That being said, if it would ease your mind, you could always bring a copy of your toddler's birth certificate to be on the safe side.

Because your 2-year-old will not have park admission, you will not be able to book FastPass+ selections for your little one. If you will be utilizing Disney FastPass+ service, simply let the Cast Member know at the entrance of the attraction that your little one is under the age of 3. During your FastPass+ window, your toddler will be allowed to enter the FastPass+ entrance with you as long as he/she meets the minimum height requirement for that particular attraction. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised by just how many attractions and entertainment options your little Mouseketeer can experience during your upcoming visit. Your little one should be able to experience any attractions categorized for Guests of "Any Age" or "Any Height."

I hope this information has been helpful to you, Debbie. Please stop by again if you have any new questions as you continue to plan a magical trip for your family!
