Planning a trip in sept. We would like to do Typhoon Lagoon one day. Is there a day of the week that the water parks are less crowded than others? Thanks!

Hi Emily! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In my opinion Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is a fun water park. The water slides are exciting especially Crush ‘n’ Gusher. Snorkeling with stingrays, sharks, and beautiful tropic fish in a coral reef is a great experience. You can relax in an inner tube and float down the lazy river or just lounge on a beach chair and soak up the sun.

September is a great time of year to visit any of Disney’s water parks. The weather typically tends to be very warm and humid and taking a break in refreshing water is always a high priority for my family. It has been my experience that the least crowded days at either of the water parks tend to be in the middle of the week. We typically try to stay away from the water parks on the weekends as this seems to be when a lot of the locals come to enjoy a break from the heat. I will say however, if it is a very warm day you may find the water parks to be crowded.

I hope that you have a great time! Be sure to stop back with any other questions that you may have. Soak up some sun for me!
