We are planning a trip for 12 people in August of 2016. I was wondering when we would be able to start to plan and book our trip? Also would we be able to make payments? Thank you.

    Hi Deirdre,

How exciting that you're planning a big family getaway!  I love visiting Walt Disney World with a big group - the more people, the more magic there is to experience!

I have great news!  It's not too early to start planning your trip now.  Room-only reservations can be made up to 499 days before your check-out date.  Just call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) to make your reservations and pay a deposit.  The rates won't yet be guaranteed since 2016 prices and packages won't be released until later this summer (usually around July), but you'll have the peace of mind knowing you have exactly the dates and Disney Resort hotel room you want for your group.  Once next year's information is released, you can then call back to confirm rates and add on extras, like theme park tickets and the Disney Dining Plan, to make your room-only reservation a package.  You'll also be able to work out payment details at that time.

Sending you lots of pixie dust for your planning, Deirdre!  We'd love to help answer any other questions you have along the way, so stop by again anytime.
