Hi we are planning a trip in October of 2018. Can you tell me when the new Toy Story will be open or at least an idea?

Hi Catherine, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Have you heard the super exciting news yet? Earlier today at the D23 Expo's Walt Disney Parks and Resorts presentation, Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts announced that Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will open next summer! Therefore, Catherine, if you are planning a visit for October 2018, you have impeccable timing!

Toy Story Land is set to bring Pixar Studio's first classic and beloved animated feature film to life in an immersive and interactive environment unlike anything we've ever seen. This new Land will feature two main attractions, including Slinky Dog Dash, a fun, family-style coaster attraction and Alien Swirling Saucers, starring those cute little green men from the Toy Story feature films.

Don't forget to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information on this new Land as we get closer to next yEAR's grand opening.

In the meantime, if there is anything else we can do to assist with your trip planning, please drop us a line. We are here to help!
