I am planning a trip in October 11-15, it's a short trip, and my kids will be 3 and 6. We know we will be going to the magic kingdom and epcot. Any suggestions on what days we should do what, or add anything in this short period of time to get the most out

    Hi Jennifer!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to the most magical place on earth!

October is a wonderful time of year to visit because the weather is cool and the crowds are low. Here are my top five suggestions for things to do while you are here:

    1. Have a character dining experience at Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. You can eat with Winnie-the-Pooh and friends and it is a great experience for young kids.

    2. Spend an entire morning in Fantasyland at The Magic Kingdom and experience the new attractions, such as The Great Goofini.

    3. Experience Disney magic with the new interactive adventure with Merlin, called the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Kids will love to play this interactive game and help Merlin solve a series of clues.

    4. Visit the Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot.

    5. Eat your way around the World Showcase at Epcot, enjoying the delicious international cuisine.

The calendar is not out for October yet, but it should be available very soon. Check back on the Magic Kingdom Calendar to see when the Extra Magic Hours are for October. I recommend adjusting your touring schedule based on the Extra Magic Hours and visiting Magic Kingdom and Epcot based on the Extra Magic Hours. I also recommend purchasing the Park Hopper when you are visiting for a short period of time, so you can visit the park with Extra Magic Morning Hours in the morning and Extra Magic Evening Hours at night to maximize your time at the parks.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

    Magically,
    Stacy
