We are planning a trip in October with our 3 grandchildren both of our boys have autism. What accommodations are there for them if any, such as standing in long lines to quiet areas. We want to make this trip enjoyable for us as well as those around us

Hi Sue! Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney Parks is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all Guests. I have some great resources for you to help make your visit to Walt Disney World Resort magical. The Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities is a great tool. It includes a list of helpful tips for both planning and enjoying your vacation, transportation information, break locations and much more.

To cut down on wait times, FastPass+ or the Disability Access Service are two great options. As you are planning your vacation, be sure to include time to stop by the Guest Relations lobby near the entrance at each of the four Theme Parks. The Guest Relations Cast Members will discuss accommodations with you in person.

The Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities also has a list of locations where you can go if your grandsons need a break for a few minutes. If needed, a Cast Member can also help you find a quiet spot nearby.

After you have reviewed all of the resources, please let me know if you have any other questions or need additional tips or advice as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

I know you are going to love seeing Walt Disney World Resort through the eyes of your grandchildren. Enjoy every magical moment!
