We are planning a trip in oct 2008. I love the forum, it has been very helpful already. My question...What is the diffference between the CRT dinner and Princess Storybook dinner?

If you were to ask me about breakfast at these two venues, I would tell you that, other than the location, they are very similar. However, dinner is a different story.

At the Princess Storybook meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at Akershus in the Norway pavilion at Epcot, there is a rotating list of 4-6 princesses in attendance. Typically one of the princesses (last time I was there is was Sleeping Beauty) is stationed for a posed photo opportunity near the restaurant entrance. The other princesses make the rounds to every table, greeting guests, signing autographs, and posing for photos.

Breakfast and lunch at the Royal Table work similarly, with Cinderella greeting guests in the lobby and several other princesses in the dining room. However, at dinner, while Cinderella is still in the lobby, the only characters in the dining room are the Fairy Godmother and Cindy's mice Suzy and Perla.

If you're looking for the full-on princess experience at the dinner hour, go for the Storybook meal. If you need another alternative in the Magic Kingdom area, try looking into dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. This meal includes Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the very comical Stepmother and Step Sisters.
