I am planning a trip in November. I have a friend that has an annual pass that she will not be using and is going to give it to me. When I book online, do I just book for the remaining people in my party and not include myself since I will have that pass

    Hi Tracey,

What a wonderful friend you have! As long as your friend has never activated her annual pass, she might be able to give it to you provided her name is not on the back. However, if she has visited the park on that pass you will not be able to use the pass. Each ticket is non-transferable and each annual pass is linked to the owner's finger print. Since finger prints are unique, this makes the transfer impossible.

As for booking the members in your party, you will all need to be listed on the reservation. This is for safety reasons as Disney wants to make sure they know who is staying with them in the event of an emergency.

In addition, each guests needs to be on the same package. If the annual pass has not been used and you are using it, the other members in your party will need to purchase their tickets online, at the front desk or at the parks as you will be creating a room only reservation. If the annual pass has been used and you now need a ticket, you have more flexibility to have a complete package with tickets and/or dining.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
